Still no sign of last week's ducklings but on another pond we met these guys. The mother's unusual coloration is reflected in some of the ducklings. Various Mandarins wandering around too.

Turning a lateral flow into a literal flaw.

No sign of the duck or ducklings this morning. I carried out a thorough search. I even interviewed some of their avian colleagues, but they all kept schtum.

It was impossible to say which was which.
