It’s more important to men to feel seen and loved by other men than to want to make women feel safe. If a woman doesn’t do what a man is expecting of them they have to fear for their lives. Does that sound right to you? Would you want to live in a world like that?

Men expect and feel entitled to women liking them. They place so much of their worth on if they’re able to “get women.” Why? Because to other men that’s what earns you respect. Popularity even. It’s a popularity contest that is more important to men than women’s safety.

When you live your life constantly in flight or flight mode it’s impossible to develop a personality.

Realizing that being autistic isn’t the only reason why I was in fight or flight is a big moment. My environment was never safe either. The adults around me were definitely not safe.
