Finished the weekend 3/5, nice wins in rounds 1,2 and 4, lost in the opening in round 3 🤦 and was playing the leader (who was a point ahead) in the last round and I overpressed as I had to win

I'm going to a tournament this weekend, first one since June

Have our clubs A team in a few weeks, and I'm sure they'll be keen on revenge for us beating them 3-1 last month (and we won't have our board 1 either)

Hit the halfway point of our league season, team sitting pretty with 3 wins, 1 draw and no losses.

Messed up my game tonight by randomly blundering a piece, but I could force a win of an exchange, then with two strong passed pawns offered a draw to seal the match 2.5-1.5
