Interviewed for an insurance company 2 weeks ago, and I work in insurance currently so the recruiter made it seem like I was the perfect fit for the role, told me I would hear back by Friday later that week & I never heard anything. I followed up thanking her for her time, expressed interest..

Couldn’t agree more

I think it’s rude and unprofessional to have an interview with a candidate and provide a timeline in which we would hear back, and then completely ghost the candidate. It’s shitty that the job market is the way that it is, but these recruiters need to be held accountable as well.
