Screenshot showing Bluesky settings. The options under the main settings menu at the top say ‘add account’ and ‘sign out of all accounts’. In the basics sub menu below that, there is ‘accessibility’.
Screenshot of the accessibility settings. Under alt text, there are two toggle switches for ‘require alt text before posting’ and ‘dysplasia larger alt text badges’. ‘Require alt text before posting’ is switched on.
I don’t know if new people realise this but in settings you can turn on a feature that forces you to add alt text to images so you never forget. The alt text tool even lets you copy text directly from your image so it doesn’t take a lot of typing
I had to check the Alt tags for both of these and y'all are so much more restrained than I would be in my description. 😅💜
Alot of bluesky community members have been very welcoming and supportive of Army, but it might be little overwhelming for few of the bluesky users which understandable, here's a list of words you can mute .
