For me it wasn't that it had to be an exact retelling, but he changed moments and themes that define the story. The Branagh version changed a lot of things too, but it was the same at its core. I liked the Del Toro movie, I just don't get the decisions he made to change some of the parts he did.

This should have been the way it is from the beginning. Browsers should have been required to provide a mechanism to manage cookie options instead of millions of websites implementing cookie compliance in a million different ways.
I have no idea how a lot of this works, but I am pretty sure we the tax payers are getting sued. I don't think they sue Trump, they sue the government and tax payers have to handle the bill, right? Maybe a lawyer can explain, but sadly I think he is shielded.
Called it. It was very hard to believe a studio of that nature, and creators in general, were comfortable shipping something terrible, even for a bonus.

My seat on @deltaairsupport.bsky.social got canceled without notice because I missed the first leg of my roundtrip. I checked in, had a pass, through security, and then told I had no seat when they scanned my ticket at the gate. Then say I can buy a new ticket for 700.
Done with Delta. Again.
It's not karaoke, it's helping to seal the Honmoon.
Fucking amateur. Onward and upward.

JESUS CHRIST IT’S WAY TOO EARLY FOR COMMERCIALS FOR THE 2026 GEORGIA SENATE RACE
Even though it just worked and might seem boring, I would still love to see a guide on how you did it.
I am "got more birthday wishes on LinkedIn than Facebook" years old.
I feel you. I have more domains purchased for projects than actual finished projects.
As someone in a city with horrible public transit, I thought of public transit as a really good way to get around to avoid the street traffic. Do e-bikes get around the street traffic problem with bike lanes?
And the second half is a shit show.
We have all heard the saying "Never interfere with your enemy when they are making a mistake," which is good advice. But what more people should heed, since it is far more common: "Don't interfere with your teammate when they are saving your ass."
There are some places where a "rookie numbers" joke would be made, but all I do is feel the pain. Let those noise cancelling headphones ear that price tag.
I am embarrassed to say this is sometimes me. Keeping up with the latest in CSS is killing me!
Considering 3-4 years ago I was envious of Tesla owners, nothing. Pivoting from a 50k+ purchase due to recent events is hard for folks at a lot of incomes, even high ones. For folks planning on buying one, different story.
That movie did the best deconstruction of the genre in one scene than any movie had a right to. Brilliant.
Like I am supposed to believe Rachel Leigh Cook, Julia Stiles, Patrick Dempsey, Anne Hathaway, etc are unattractive because they speak a little sternly or their shoes don't match their outfit?
I think Hollywood has always made this harder for themselves in the "unpopular into desirable" trope. Surely it's harder to make someone who is a borderline supermodel look more plain than it is to make someone who wouldn't be on the cover of Cosmo more traditionally beautiful, right?
This is the type of thing a junior engineer who asked AI to explain databases to him might say. He wants people to believe he is an engineer so badly that he keeps exposing himself. Stop listening to him.
Please just let me reuse my password. Please I am begging you. Please I don’t care if someone hacks my Barnes and Noble account. Please I have no new passwords left. Please you have taken them all from me.
2 weeks ago my 4 year old said I was her best friend and I still misty eyed telling everyone I know about it every chance I get.
FYI, if you are a CEO about to lay off thousands of people, don't announce "They are low performers" before they even find out who they are. Not only is that a potential privacy/legal violation to tell the world why someone was laid off, it also just makes you a huge jerk.
A tweet from Elon using Unix commands in the wrong manner to try and poke fun at being Woke, so he is telling on himself.
That's not how any of these commands work.
Whenever you feel bad about tech debt or falling behind on features, just remember that Facebook account recovery codes haven't worked for almost a year.
It's big, it's busy, but it's still one of the best organized airports in my opinion.
I never said it was anything different. I stand by my submission and victory.
