Zach would absolutely bring back what Hughes did, a young second line center and a young NHL ready defender, plus a pick.

I don't think Vogelhuber will take much to train. The Zach question is insanely difficult and they don't have long to figure it out. He's absolutely part of the leadership group that's failed this team repeatedly.

I really think the answer is to bring him back, bring up Vogelhuber as his assistant coach and hand the reigns over to him when Rick hangs them up. As for the players, Don and Rick need to accept that while Werenski is an incredible player, he's not a leader. Don't just hand him the C.
