Yep! Absolutely. It's not like a 1 to 1 thing. There's obviously other factors but lower IQ could be one of the steps that lead up to offending. I feel like people who are pro-contact are a little more emotionally immature and might be one of the steps leading towards them being pro-contact.

Obviously there's a lot of variables to that study, I don't think it concludes that IQ of pedophiles is lower just because the sample was literally just sexual offenders in prison who may or may not have actually had pedophilic disorder or were opportunistic/situational

I wonder if minor attraction has more of a chance to develop in people who are socially immature. Like, genuinely wonder if that's a possible outlet.
