The NHS was built on the principle of medical need, not the ability to pay. 💙
But private donors are gaining influence in Westminster. We need to ensure that healthcare decisions favour the public, not profit.

Back in September, I wrote about Ukraine's long-range drones. Now that they are regularly and accurately striking Russian refineries and oil infrastructure, I think it's worth reading again, for those who missed it. Gift link:

The grift never ends with this crowd.
Over the years of his unfortunate relevance I have sought in vain to find Nigel Farage defining what he likes about this country - and it’s astonishingly difficult to do – which is weird really because he is without a doubt the most influential and best known English nationalist of our era.
Ecotalk’s re wilding site in Sussex, only just became home to a Colony of Beavers and now this - a Parliament of baby Tawny Owls too. Bloomscrolling instead of Doomscrolling - that’s what our customers are doing..:)
RFK jr 'There's two ways of calculating percentage and Trump's way is if you have a $600 drug and reduce it to $10 that is a 600% reduction.'
No there aren't two ways of calculating percentages and a 600% decrease would mean THEY are paying YOU $3000.
#PalantirOut - not in!
Just depressing. And really a total failure of media and political responsibility if people do vote in any significant numbers for Reform. At council level, they’re loons. At national level, they’re deeply corrupt. All of them appear to be racist and hateful. What a disgrace that that could win.
Starmer’s been weak when he should have been bold (eg EU), bold when he should have been more cautious (eg Trump); too trusting of those whose entire career is about dodgy politics (eg McSweeney); too disloyal to those whose entire career is about loyalty and professionalism (civil service)
His family left him behind but he never stopped waiting for them to come back.
But that was his past. Look at him now. Perfection

🚨 69% of NHS workers say the health service is poorly prepared for another pandemic.
While some staff feel the level of preparedness has improved since 2020, 37% say it’s no better and 16% believe it’s actually worse.

162 MPs have accepted a combined £2.9M linked to the private healthcare sector.
While the NHS is pushed to its breaking point, we want to dig deeper to find out exactly what that money is buying.
You deserves to know the truth. Help us fund our next investigation: link in bio.
Transparency is vital to ensure our MPs prioritise the NHS over private interests.
We want to track these links even further to protect our public health by filing FOI's and identifying meetings between policy makers and private reps.

A promotional graphic for the EveryDoctor organisation on a bright red background. On the right is a headshot of Dr. Julia Patterson, CEO of EveryDoctor, smiling at the camera. To her left, bold text reads: "GOOD LAW Project. Our CEO Julia joins Good Law Project’s new podcast: The Shadow Contract. An investigative podcast about Palantir, NHS data and the fight for public trust." At the top left is the EveryDoctor logo, and at the bottom right is a QR code with the caption "Listen now."
