Additionally, going forward I'll be zero tolerance on the following:
-Disrespect
-Blatant self-promo
-Backseating when I'm not asking
Timeout and warning followed by ban, except for disrespect--which is an instant ban
-Considering scaling back on alerts
-Not gonna focus as much on long plays, though I'll still play them
-Will likely stream on Sundays--no more weekday/weeknight streams
-Truly emphasizing the hobby mindset
-Will implement something fun to incentivize subs
I just want Twitch to be fun
Hi all! So now that I've had some more time to think things over, here's the move going forward:
-Only streaming once a week.
-It will be less of a show, more of like, "Hi I'm live, let's chat while I play something"
-Rolling back a lot of my channel point rewards and things
(1/?)🧵
Wegmans has pre-made dough that's ready to go, and I bought some shredded mozzarella and pepperoni 😊 I didn't put as much effort into this one but was still fun and rewarding to make 🫶
On a side note, I still rule at making pizza
Text that reads: So, I'm posting here in hopes of getting some legit, unbiased, honest advice from you--my friends. This past week and weekend has had me at a mental crossroads regarding my streaming on Twitch. I've been doing it for seven-plus years now, and for the most part I've enjoyed my time. There's been a lot of ups, a lot of downs, and I'd get back up from each down. With this said, I realized this week I'm growing tired. Between working full time and streaming itself, I rarely have much time for myself or much of anything. Loving my current job, but I've been itching to go back to classes to pick up a new skill or two, or maybe get a certification in a field I could make a difference and an honest living in. And then I hover back to streaming, and wonder if it's something I should keep doing. From a hobbyist standpoint I've had a lot of fun. I've tried many times to take it farther, maybe earn Partner one day, but in my entire seven years on there, I haven't even crossed a 30 CCV. As far as YouTube goes, I have neither the time to make content for it, or the money to outsource editing to others. My Discord community is sizable, but quiet. It's rare anyone ever wants to collaborate. I'm growing tired of conventions--and honestly regretting signing on for Corgscon in June. They say one should step back from streaming when they're not enjoying it as much... Have I hit that point?
Vented a bit on my personal Facebook regarding how I feel lately. Thought I'd share here. 👉👈
Thank you all for the kind words regarding my earlier post. I appreciate that.
I think I'm gonna allow myself tomorrow morning off as well. I think a lot of how I feel has to do with the fact that I work full-time, and I barely have time for myself outside of work and streaming.
Back at the movies to see Project Hail Mary the right way
Truthfully, I gotta admit. Recently, I simply haven't felt like streaming. Unsure if it's mild burnout, or if I'm starting to lose interest, but either way I'll figure it out.
UPDATE:
For the sake of being ready for potential family visits, no stream tonight or tomorrow. I'll be back Sunday for Pokopia, I swear!

I really enjoyed my stream of Pokopia, but like... Can people do me a big favor? Please, pretty please, with a cherry on top--dont backseat me while I'm playing. Don't tell me what to expect. Don't tell me what to do when I'm playing it.
It's in my rules, my tags, and my timers.
STOP.
Pokopia is a great time!
Thank you @kylethepug.bsky.social and @joaniebrosas.bsky.social for the raids!

UPDATE:
Take this post with a massive grain of salt. Apparently it's being shown off at CinemaCon, with no promises of whether the rest of the world will see it soon after or not.
I'm not responsible for any high hopes.
