This campaign is from a couple of years ago, but remains one of my favourites as @parachute.ca 's marketing lead. I regret we only had limited funding to promote it. Any takers to get this out there more widely? #KnowWhatImpairedMeans

I found this through a "recommended reads" display at the Stratford public library, connected to my injury prevention work @parachute.ca . Or so I thought: Collective Cure focuses on improving public health through equity investment that reduce disease & illness.

A Bichon Frise sits on top of couch cushions covered in a teal-blue afghan throw with knotted tassels. In front of the dog is a copy of the Anna Olson cookbook, Anna Cooks: 125+ Delicious & Achievable Recipes for Every Meal of the Day. The book is hardcover, edged in white, and the cover photograph shows a woman sitting at a table with a spoon raised in her left hand above a bowl of soup. She is wearing a soft-moss-green top with a boat neckline. She has blond collar-length straight hair parted on the left side and tucked behind each ear. Her right arm rests on the table behind the bowl and at her right elbow is a small plate of salad. In the foreground is larger shallow bowl holding slices of bread plus another place setting of the soup and a side salad. Between the two settings are a pair of wood salt and pepper grinders, two clear glasses of water, and a dark taupe glass vase with a narrow neck holding one white flower and a spray of pale green foliage.
I met my friend Shawna when were on a #Barcelona cooking trip with @chefannaolson.bsky.social & her husband Chef Michael Olson (not on #Bluesky). She just sent me a signed copy of Anna Cooks as a present. Ruby the #Bichon approves. Anna, think I'll try your aunt's chicken soup first. #DogsofBluesky

The stats in this piece. Especially this one.
"A one- to three-hour daily commute amounts to approximately 250 to 750 hours per year, equivalent to six to 18 additional full-time work weeks spent in transit rather than on productive work or personal activity."

Hills, water, tight historic areas … can’t think of a more complicated place to try this than Bilbao and yet they did it. A great city even if you never go to the Guggenheim (the subway goes to the beach!). Our only barriers here in Toronto are political.
