Joining the EU has been a magic ticket to prosperity for former Russian satellite states. Bulgaria is now going vertical.

This will happen for Ukraine, and it's Putin's nightmare. Ukraine’s resources, size, brainpower and location assure it will make even Poland's success small on comparison.

Headline about Farage being due to make his economic vision made known today, which will have as much structure as a sculpture made out of jelly

As Farage is about to set out his economic vision, let’s recall that Kent County Council was due to be Reform’s “flag ship” demonstrating they are ready to Govern

KCC is increasing council tax, despite pledging to cut it, and has now had to ask the opposition to help them try and find savings❗️🤦🏼‍♂️

It’s fascinating comparing the front page coverage of the Huntingdon train attack (below) with how the British press treated another case 30 years ago.

I’m referring to the 1995 Netto supermarket attack in Birmingham in which a man stabbed 10 people, killing one of them.

It's super easy to switch. Not justifying the increase in any way - it's disgusting.

I'd say insurance is close to as good.
Crazy price hikes each year make it clear people are too lazy to switch.
It's also very easy to switch. I change almost annually for home and car.

Yep. I honestly can't believe how cheap the Uk mobile networks are. Crazy

Yep.
The mobile phone market place is a huge success. Super competitive, simple to compare tariffs and very easy to switch.

If only energy was the same.

I use them all a lot less. But I quite like insta. I'm curious to see the ad free option,

It's pathetic isn't it. It's like they have to pretend they're Netflix or something.

Meta offers a subscription to opt out of ads.
My insta feed is 70% suggested posts.
Will I lose these too?
The subs should offer opt out of the algorithm completely.

Reason Reason GmbH & Co KG

Maybe. But it's just a big big sink hole of this kind of frothy bollocks on social platforms.

Accepted EM carries more weight because of his stature.

If The Sun ran this as a headline.. that would concern me more.
And they're given much more reason to do that if Starmer responds.

Musk just sounds like dick tho. in this context.

It's whether he's bankrolling Tommy and Nige that's way more concerning.

Who is musk talking to though?
Or more, who is listening to him?
Maybe ignoring him is the best policy.

Revenge against the banking nerds is near With progress in AI, the showhorses may yet eclipse the more technically skilled workhorses

I'm not sure "strong-judgement, credibility and the ability to tell a story" are immune from being taken over by AI and I really don't think many people would put those at the top of the list of characteristics of successful investment bankers....

The RW media is doing a great job of framing the issues to show them in worst possible light.
