Thank you to the author Valerie Hudson for this article.
I take this opportunity to clarify that States and other stakeholders are not obligated to accept our findings and recommendations.

"I’m happy for female athletes but needing Trump to sweep out gender ideology is like having to bulldoze your house to get rid of dry rot.
He'll be so destructive - to Ukrainians, to Palestinians, to Americans..& the left allowed this..by denying reality"

Men, men, centrist "sensible" men. It's painful how wrong you are on this. Of course Trump isn't a sodding feminist. It's scandalous the Dems have even remotely made him look like one.

If only this from the Sunday Times were new - the truth is even worse: that trusts have been advertising for “corridor nurses” for years. A horrendous illustration of how overwhelmed our hospitals are every year, all year. This isn’t “flu” - it’s flu + lack of beds + failure to address social care 🧵
Only if I can propose in return that tech bros can live in politicians’ spare rooms, use their toothbrushes, and eat from their fridges.
Or are only certain sorts of property free to be given away willy-nilly cos billionaires feel like having a go on it?

& Keir_Starmer in the light of yesterday's vote on AD.
If they sincerely care about dying people, surely now they will publicly & urgently commit to properly funding our threadbare, neglected palliative care?

Even if you can't always prove it or prevent it, it matters to say "this, too, is rape". It matters because it's a statement about female bodily integrity and consent. It's a reinforcement of the belief that these things *always* matter. >
It's very whimsical and different but gradually getting used to it, taking it at a slow pace, it's easier to see stuff you're interested in and interact
Love this!
I don't know who needs to hear this, but if all you accomplish this weekend is reading a riveting novel cover-to-cover whilst drinking multiple kettles of tea and consuming a scandalous amount of croissants, then you will have accomplished more than enough.
What a beautiful photo

Good morning from frosty Shropshire 🥶
A moment of play for today's #FoxOfTheDay , shared by @kartoffelpilz on Instagram
HE TELLS HER by Wendy Cope He tells her that the earth is flat - He knows the facts, and that is that. In altercations fierce and long She tries her best to prove him wrong. But he has learned to argue well. He calls her arguments unsound And often asks her not to yell. She cannot win. He stands his ground. The planet goes on being round.
A poem for all time
Yep, especially if accompanied with a glass of red wine
Misty start to the day here in Shropshire
Word of the Day, should you need it, is ‘latibulate’, a 17th-century verb meaning to find a corner somewhere and hide in it.
Hello! Not been on here long but it seems a friendlier place than others so happy to be here
