most importantly he taught me about compassion, hard work, and just generally led by example how to be a good person and look out for the ones around you, especially the ones who couldn’t always take care of themselves.

He taught me to play dominoes. He taught me how to mow lawns and repair lawnmowers. He taught me to drink coffee (grandma helped a little with that as well).
He's why I still love circus peanuts to this day.

Today would’ve been my grandpa‘s #100thbirthday.
We unfortunately lost him during the pandemic and I still hate the fact he never got a proper funeral because this man was pretty universally loved by all.
