Seasmoke laughs along with her, but he's completely serious with daydreaming.

"Perhaps I could join you in that? I do need to read up myself."

"I hear it's because they had dragon-riding in their blood...but you make me question that."

"They're mostly around Claw Isle, I believe, but yes, they're Valyrian."

"Keep your head up. There are only so many eggs around. I like to think the inclusion of Velaryons as dragon riders helps some."

"Perhaps one of the current generation will marry House Celtigar."

Seasmoke shrugs his shoulders as he rests beside her, just taking his breath.

"You still haven't had a rider since Alysanne? A shame. If only the Valyrians used our elders instead of always hatching new ones."
