To those wringing their hands that I’m on social media too much, this one is for you. Old notions of “decorum” and policing fellow Democrats aren't just ineffective, but in fact a severe miscalculation.
You are going to face difficulties trying to join the Dems. You’ll come across outdated contact info on their websites, and maybe even wrong info about who is still in the party.
But that is also why Dems need people like YOU to join. We can have a competent base as long as you don’t give up.

I want us to think bigger—to allow ourselves to break unnecessary norms, to be innovative, agile, and competitive. That requires allowing new faces at the table, and providing them with opportunities to lead. And yes, that means breaking up some of our organizational stagnancy and gatekeeping.
I’ve been asked multiple times over what is wrong with the Democratic Party. And my answer has stayed consistent over for the last years: our party fears change.
