She basically said Z getting paid like a star player so she better play like a star player.

Yeah. They have 9 signed with a lil over $1.8M left. Give Tash $800K-$1M. Factoring in Flau'Jae's $309K, they have $500K-$600K for the final roster spot. A good amount to claim someone decent off waivers if necessary.
I don't see teams bringing in Tash at or near vet max with less than $2M in cap space and they only have 7 or 8 players signed at this point. I also don't see Tash going to any of the 4 teams with cap space (in order of space)
Mystics
Fire
Sun (refused to play for 2025)
PHX (traded 2025)

No
Chi has 4 players on the injury list out the gate. Nai, Z, Westbeld & Sloot
Dana Evans is out indefinitely with the same injury, I believe.
DiDi Richard got injured in NYL traininng camp
This doesn't seem like that.
They only have 7 players paid and a lil less than $1.4M left
They just want clicks. Ignore the posts and articles to help them move along. The more people engage, the more they'll keep posting it.
Keep reading the post. That's just the stipend part of their compensation. The also get health insurance, housing, car allowance and per diem. The per diem would bring them up to $90K assuming they play all 12 games they are allowed to play.
I left that alone, but it definitely pissed me off.
Players are taking discounts.
All I see in this is Kelsey is out after this year. They basically gave supermax to AB starting next season. #WNBA
Washington, Connecticut and Portland are the teams in the best position to sign her. I think she wanted to be on a contender though. PHX has space, but I doubt she would even entertain that.
Yeah, I don't think Tash wants to play on a lottery team though.
This Tash wants to be on a contender. The contenders don't have the cap space at this point.
Plus they have to pay Liv $467K
Nope. That 2.7M doesn't account for Phee's 1.4M and with Phee, that only brings them to 8 players paid. I don't see her playing for near vet minimum. She could have stayed in NY for that. #WNBA
Something to watch though...Dom also may not be able to play if Fenerbahce does not consent after she unilaterally ended her contract...that could free up some space.
Not looking likely. They have 8 players paid (not including draftees) with about $2.25M left. They have to pay Awa $436K and Flau'Jae $310K.
And before y'all get on here talking crazy. Sue and Megan broke their own news. There's a great difference. #WNBA
My girl is back...on a discount, but back. Those injuries won't let her be great. #WNBA
Libs cap space...pretty tight considering only 3 players have been allocated money and we know the big 3 definitely getting at leasr 1M each. Still room for Tash though.
I honestly haven't looked at cap space in a few days because players were announced but not actually signed.
Cloud about to be the #WNBA Kaepernick
Going back to Dom unilaterally ending her contract with Fenerbahce...did they sign off on her playing in the #WNBA this season?
Man if it didn't have that Fever logo, it would be mine
So are hardship contracts a thing of the past with the development roster spots? #WNBA
Every last one of them went to Chicago for the money. It just happened to also be close to home for Skylar.
If she and Paige are still together and if they receive any advice from other WNBA couples on how to navigate playing together.
