RFK Jr is wrong. Like usual.
Beef tallow is not healthier than seed oils.

RFK Jr is immune to evidence.
DECADES of DATA show eating polyunsaturated fats in seed oils reduce risk of heart disease & atherosclerosis compared to eating saturated fats in beef tallow.

Our sister died because of our mum's cancer conspiracy theories, say brothers Paloma Shemirani’s brothers say she refused chemotherapy because of their mother’s beliefs.

‘Alternative medicine’ is not harmless

The rise of anti-science has been happening for more than a decade but was turbocharged by conspiracy theorists and alternative medicine ‘practitioners’ during the pandemic

I’m gonna need Canada and the EU to recognize “educational persecution” as a legitimate reason to apply for citizenship from the US. Having a brain is a dangerous thing right now

A graph showing reported measles cases in the United States. The line shows that there were regularly 400-600,000 cases each year until 1963, when the measles vaccine was licensed, at which point cases plummet. In 2000, the elimination of measles was declared.

Vaccines have granted families in wealthy countries the luxury of forgetting what measles, polio, rubella, and other preventable diseases are like.

We're looking at how many millions of lives vaccines have saved.

Really specific stat “milestones” are the dumbest part of sports media. As great as LeBron or whoever is, I don’t care that they’re the first person to have made a 16 foot right handed shot while leaning left, jumping off the left foot, against a player with a 7 foot wingspan while wearing Adidas

Therapy works well for single-trauma #PTSD, but is it less effective when there are multiple traumas?

No, finds analysis of 137 trials. A large effect size for both:

As a doctor, I’m very sorry that the medical system has not met your needs. And I am in no way making excuses for such a broken system (assuming US healthcare). But you should see how medical school and residency changes and breaks students. Some of the best and brightest crushed by the machine.

I’ll be honest, the conspiratorial approach many people have towards healthcare is making me apathetic. Don’t believe in science or think we’re paid off by big pharma? Don’t go to the doctor. Don’t take medicine when you get sick. Stick onions in your socks. Reap your consequences.

At this point the isekai genre is well past its prime, the trend just needs to end. They’re all essentially clones of each other

The US is about to experience the worst brain drain in human history. Restricting medications based on unscientific personal vendettas, slashing research funding, etc. Personally, Australia is looking nice and I’ve heard there’s quite a backlog to see psychiatrists in Melbourne 🤔

My Dress Up Darling manga ending in ONE chapter after literally just getting Gojo and Marin together sucks. I’m aware the mangaka is having health issues, but I’d rather a hiatus than an axe.

Similar to Frieren, RuriDragon takes familiar concepts and approaches it with a refreshing viewpoint. School life and Fantasy will always be popular, but many people are tired of “I got isekai’d with a huge dong and a busty waifu” and “hot person falls in love with plain person who is secretly hot”

Having residency programs follow labor regulations would be a start. The number of programs I’ve heard of that expect residents to lie about their 100+ hr workweek ACGME violations is staggering. Residency is less about learning nowadays and more an outright exploitation of young professionals.
