I had the same earworm and was going to title the post 'Witchita Lineman'!

I know. Unfortunately, due to life, I left school at 14 and never returned.
Two utility workers in a bucket truck repairing electrical lines on a wooden pole under a clear blue sky. A man 20 feet below had perfectly tossed that clamp, or whatever it is, to the guy on the left. The guy on the left casually reached out and grabbed the object from the air, turned around and installed it wherever it was supposed to go in less than 10 seconds. I bet they've done this hundreds of times before. Click on the image to get the full view.

At 66 years, I have started reading 'The Grapes of Wrath' for the first time. I was busy.
Until I am finished with this gem, you may be subjected to lots of photos of linemen.
Read the alt text for the story behind this shot. And enlarge this image.

Wow! I got three species in one photo and I thought it was the best thing ever!
There's some nice work here, Adam!
Damn. Too early. Be safe, my friend.
Oh, right! That was just a couple days ago!
Says it right on my mailbox! ๐คช

After shooting about 100 frames of these guys over 1/2 hour in front of my house, I walked up and introduced myself and got their email address to send them a bunch of photos.

When they see me step out with a camera, they know something's going on, so they get all wound up! It's amusing (in a way) how they've figured things out.
One of my dogs knew the difference between a long lens (wildlife to bark at!) and a wide angle (boring for dogs landscape stuff) lens!
Thanks for the info. I should probably get that one!
Thank you, Jen!
Sounds like we have similar backgrounds. Got into tech in '95, worked for mostly startups (I'm not a 'corporate' type) and by 2015 the writing was on the wall. In 2016, I resigned to chase after being an architectural photographer. Decision probably saved my life.
Yep. Amazingly, I have somehow managed to run my refrigerators for the last 60 years without needing an app for it! ๐
Thank you as always, Robert! Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday!
I'm so sorry for your discovery. ๐ฑ
Thanks, Audrey!
You have seen some great shows!
Thank you. I had no idea what I was looking at!
Excellent! I saw them in New York at the Bonds fiasco in '81. They oversold the venue by about 20-fold! You and I saw legends!

I know nothing about astronomy but while doing the dishes this past evening I saw these two planets out my window. I loved the outline of the moon.

I'd love to see a version after post (keep me in mind!).
Just curious, did you happen to give it a shot of editing the image yourself for comaprison?
That looks shockingly like me on a summer morning!
Wow!
I've made countless trips from Gray to Newcastle (and beyond) when I lived in Maine. Cow dung aside, that coast is always amazing.
Did he not read the sign before he entered Paton Center for Hummingbirds???
Lovely capture, Brian!
Nice!
