Oh, right! That was just a couple days ago!

Two utility workers in a bucket lift working on a wooden power pole against a clear blue sky.

After shooting about 100 frames of these guys over 1/2 hour in front of my house, I walked up and introduced myself and got their email address to send them a bunch of photos.

When they see me step out with a camera, they know something's going on, so they get all wound up! It's amusing (in a way) how they've figured things out.
One of my dogs knew the difference between a long lens (wildlife to bark at!) and a wide angle (boring for dogs landscape stuff) lens!
Thanks for the info. I should probably get that one!
Thank you, Jen!
Sounds like we have similar backgrounds. Got into tech in '95, worked for mostly startups (I'm not a 'corporate' type) and by 2015 the writing was on the wall. In 2016, I resigned to chase after being an architectural photographer. Decision probably saved my life.
Yep. Amazingly, I have somehow managed to run my refrigerators for the last 60 years without needing an app for it! ๐
Thank you as always, Robert! Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday!
I'm so sorry for your discovery. ๐ฑ
Thanks, Audrey!
You have seen some great shows!
Thank you. I had no idea what I was looking at!
Excellent! I saw them in New York at the Bonds fiasco in '81. They oversold the venue by about 20-fold! You and I saw legends!

I know nothing about astronomy but while doing the dishes this past evening I saw these two planets out my window. I loved the outline of the moon.

I'd love to see a version after post (keep me in mind!).
Just curious, did you happen to give it a shot of editing the image yourself for comaprison?
That looks shockingly like me on a summer morning!
Wow!
I've made countless trips from Gray to Newcastle (and beyond) when I lived in Maine. Cow dung aside, that coast is always amazing.
Did he not read the sign before he entered Paton Center for Hummingbirds???
Lovely capture, Brian!
Nice!
Please tell me there's not an app for it as well! I dread the next new *anything* I have to buy!
What a machine in it's day!
Wait, there's no beak or feathers on this! ๐คช
Well executed, Kort!
Yuu picked a perfect time to go. We both know that it's brutal there people-wise starting in just a couple weeks!

Yep, exactly. I'm an architectural photographer by trade and sometimes you've got to make magic happen in tight places. The bonus for me, is that when I am out shooting for pleasure, I've got all the gear!
Thanks, Alex. Most of the time, I'm either shooting with a 16-35 if the roads are narrow or the structure too tall, or a 24-70 for the when I know I have room to work. And maybe 5% of the time to avoid trespassing, I'll use my 70-200. All on full-frame bodies.
The only thing puny there is me! ๐คช
