That's adorable, thank you

Damn right!
I didn't know that gif existed, but it's so bad that I really needed to. Thank you
Amusingly I came downstairs to tell you that because I found it out as part of a very similar conversation on the same topic elsewhere. I had no idea you guys were talking about it here too.

Thanks! That is very helpful. Will do.
That's been on my list. I need to get around to fallout 2 soon for sure. Worth going in order and doing fallout 1 first? (I've done the others after 2.)
Things that make Trouble purr besides the obvious:
Sleeping on my keyboard (NO!)
Running to my chair and sitting on it when I get up
Sleeping in the 1ft of space between my work computer and my personal one (fine, but heads off the caps lock, you galoot)
Getting stuck in plastic bags
Being sat upon
that is terrific! Thanks for the good news
PM me with when is convenient for you? Because I'd totally be up for that and I work from home
*Waves hello from RP*
Yes. The winner should finish a fight tidily and efficiently. Someone who is losing should prolong it as much as they can looking for an advantage, a 'banana peel.' Because he'd always remind us that everything can be going well but then you step on a banana peel... then it's not.
I think this is a big part of it. Some of them are people who thought Trump could never win once. And now they just don't know what happened and can't cope, so they're hiding.
Yeah, I slept crappily last night because partner did, and I'm a light sleeper. I was completely looking forward to sleeping in. That is until I woke up at 7am.
Don't get me wrong: I'm relieved that this case is shaping up as either 8-1 or 7-2 against the Trump executive order. But the case is a gift to the Supreme Court. By rejecting an outlandish position, it will earn credibility as apolitical, even as the Overton window moves far to the right.
Go with just pride! I learned to cycle at 10, which got me teased for how late it was, but I privately thought it was the closest to flying I could practically get. It's still the cheapest, safest way to feel the wind on your face as you shoot through the air.
I have to admit that term for my favorite kind of joke still bothers me.
(clearly we should retake the word for NB people :)
stopped clock
Fair, I don't really want clones like that, but that's valid.
True. And that isn't inherently a problem.
But there's a difference between me looking at your art and saying "WHOOOAH, that gives me some mad ideas" and some CEO looking at your art and saying "I know exactly what we can steal from that to make millions without having to credit them."
Thanks!
It is on my list, somewhere behind Disco Elysium and Daggerfall because I already own those two but haven't played them either.
Of course ignoring the fact that everyone copying each other is one of the many reasons for enshittification in the AAA space
Yes! Being no worse than everyone else has been so easy. I really can't think of a massmarket RPG since Skyrim that didn't have a lot of those vibes in one way or another. (That said there are a Lot of games I don't know. I mostly play open world games and not enough of those.)
To clarify for those who don't know, Harry is the main lead and Hans is his noble idiot he watches over and becomes friends with. For various reasons, them being queer worked for me, including "so that's why you're putting up with this bloody idiot, Harry!" Well Hans is supposed to be beautiful...
Also, getting to romance Hans didn't feel very gamergate and made me forgive them the queer villains.
sso I am willing to be persuaded by this evidence that Warhorse is going AI slop and was ugly before, but I don't think KCD2 is as bad as you think.
Also, Musa is portrayed as a well-traveled, smart, and wise Muslim and Black man, so I decided that they were taking the arguably incorrect but popular historical view that many untravelled people like Harry really wouldn't have seen nonwhite people.
Having just finished KCD2: I'd say that it felt different from what most big studios produce and variety is nice. Also, it didn't feel more racist to me than most big games. Yes it's decidely imperfect racially. But honestly so are almost all games made by big studios.
Welp, guess I'm not white! Incorrect, but seems like a compliment from those folks.
My first is a common Jewish name and my last name would fit well too, so that type would be doubly sure I'm Jewish in particular. Not accurate either, but I am happy to let them think so!
