Who was the difference maker down the stretch in the NFC West? Where's the delta? Time and time again, it was Rashid Shaheed for this Seahawks team. Full stop. You were only in it at the end because of that mid-season acquisition. #GoHawks

Rashid Shaheed’s 12 career TD receptions have traveled an average of 45.8 yards in the air, the most by any player in the Next Gen Stats era (min. 10 TD receptions).
Shaheed has also scored a league-high 4 special teams touchdowns since entering the NFL in 2022.

bummer to see kenneth walker leave. seahawks really don't have a dynamic starter for 2026 now, with charbonnet coming back from an ACL. don't especially like their options either
one fun thing NFL teams can do to celebrate their anniversary is win a title while setting a franchise record for points while also leading the league in scoring defense while also fielding the sport's fourth youngest roster while also waiting for the head coach to turn 40.
Yes, surely the team that came back to win from 7 points down with 6 minutes left in overtime couldn't have possibly erased a 2 point deficit with 6 minutes left in regulation.
Still cackling at how the Peyton Manning OT rule change opened the door a decade later for the *Seahawks* to make a comeback on TNF that propelled them to a 1 seed and another Super Bowl title

How did #Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald land on Brian Fleury as his new offensive coordinator?
Here's what Macdonald said about his process and decision.

💯
Hoping they re-sign him but I don’t think it will kill them if they don’t. Definitely other parts of the roster that could hurt more depending on choices. Corner for instance. But I liked how Ken was looking towards the end of the year and feel like it would be better to re-sign him.
Any decisions in particular that raise the eyebrows at all so far?
I went over all the latest Seahawks news, and then took us on a walk down memory lane when the last Seahawks SB team faced an offseason before trying to repeat. Some interesting parallels and differences.

This makes me happy. Locker rooms thrive when there's win & yang. Coop is the yin to Spoon's yang. He's also a security blanket for Darnold. There's a new OC so no need to multiply the angst with wholesale changes to personnel. It signals a couple things as well. 🧵

Hoping they sign K9 back for next year. I think it would be a mistake to let him walk. #Seahawks

Seahawks blocking wide receivers, deep TE talent plus Robbie Ouzts is straight murder in a defensively soft NFL. You think you love these cats now? This is about to be stupid. Goodnight! 😂

I would not be upset if they stayed put and drafted an interior O-Lineman. I’m not a college/draft guy though so I don’t really know if there’s some promising dudes that will be available at the bottom of round 1 or not though.
Great news. 👏
“Fleury played a role in game-planning for the 49ers and was among the coaches who assisted with play-calling during games. Last month, Shanahan explained that offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak, offensive line coach Chris Foerster and Fleury serve as in-game sounding boards and offer suggestions.”
From my friend
John and Mikey loved some dude in SF who worked with their TE’s. JS explained to me in painful detail how Fluery schemed the tight ends in SF to be a crazy factor in the middle of the field and their complex run game down there. AJ Barner-Arroyo - Saubert likely ecstatic
New theory: coaching defense for 15 years teaches you how to attack it better
More serious analysis: taking the TE coach is very smart - Nate Tice has talked about how that position coach interacts with all position groups on offense.
