with writing its like holistically more personal and (at least for me) harder to leave things to the imagination. i love doing "show not tell" but its kinda hard to show things when you're having to describe and reiterate in words yknow. but thats part of the fun at the end of the day for both

my two cents as someone who does both is that it's a lot harder to play off of. the reason why chords sound "nice" to us is consonance. the vibration sets are directly perceived as nice and stable in the mindbrain. Musicology is a fascinating sort
