This morning we walked along the foreshore path next to Orana Esplanade at Point Halloran, Victoria Point.
We observed many different shorebirds busy feeding on the tidal flats including Eastern curlew, Whimbrel, Bar-tailed godwit, Grey-tailed tattler, Pacific golden plover, and Ruddy turnstorne.
