I have never met a smart person who thought the humanities and social sciences were useless college subjects who wasn't grifting.
HOT TAKE: Stop saying you can't believe you agree with grifters who have suddenly become critical of Trump. That's not a change of heart or sudden flash of wisdom they're having... they are simply changing the optics to maintain their income and influence and you're falling for it.
YEP.

If you believe the purpose of math instruction is answer getting, then sure, this does the job. But if you believe the purpose of math education is to develop humans who can reason and problem solve and think critically, then this doesn't make that happen. We have to agree on why we even teach math.

The world is scary and hard and challenging and depressing and it's far too easy to slip into melancholy and hopelessness. And then he offers me a glimpse through his eyes and it motivates me to keep going, to keep doing what I can to make the world a place that won't crush his kindness and spirit.
Took a quick trip this weekend for TT's birthday so he could spend time with his cousin. He blew out the candles on his cake, and then said, "I didn't wish for anything, because my wish already came true. I'm here with all of you."
I don't know how we made such a precious lil bean. He's the best.
