Creatives don't owe you anything!

You want a show, story, or whatever that does not challenge you and gives you everything you want then go to that AI slop because it will be more than happy to feed it to you.

With AI on the rise seemingly ready to make everything from art to books worse, the last thing any creative need is a fandom that acts like spoiled children.

Lately all I'm seeing in fandom today, is controversy after controversy over fans losing every last gram of sanity over the slightest bit of pushback.

I remember when fandom was about enjoying most, if not everything about what you got. And if you didn't like certain things there was something in the fandom that appealed to what you wanted in fanfiction, fanart, and other fan works.

And to those who might want to do the whole "um, whattabout" crap, let me state it simply. You as the audience are not obligated to listen to them but you sure as hell are not obligated to be insulted that I created putting up boundaries in the first place.

I'll say this with 10 toes down, and I know some feathers: you have less social awareness than those AI bros and in fact, deserve nothing but AI made slop. Because at least then there are no boundaries for you to cross and no person that you can hurt behind your absolute pig ignorant behavior

or if you harass artists because they said the most minimal 'hey don't say I personally approved something you made because I never said that' and then you go on to lie about them...

This isn't even to anyone in particular but if you are the type of person who will accuse creatives of bigotry when the labels you have slapped on a character are disproven, if you call a writer an abuse supporter because the character that's getting more attention turns out to be a shitty person...

I used to believe that the creators, actors, writers, etc. did owe the fans a little bit because without the fans they would not have had success but with the messes I have seen between Hazbin/TADC/and most recently Gakuchika, with the devolving of fandom in general that ship has sailed.

You are not owed their approval. You are not owed their time. You are not owed representation from them and you are sure as shit not owed access to their mind, life, work, or answers.

It does not matter how long you have been a fan, how much money you've spent on their merch, how much effort you put into fan works for fan art, or how seen you buy characters in the story, the creator is not obligated to you.

While this is in relation to Kei Urana and the fiasco around her work I just feel the need to remind everybody regardless of their politics or their fandom or whatever, that the creators of the stuff you enjoy are not obligated to you in any way.

Okay, I know this is old news but this rant has been bubbling up in me for a while I feel the need to let it out because I have no words for some of you people.

Number one and let's put it at the top: Creators of the stuff you like do not know you shit!

It was! Need to learn how to draw fur and horns but I thing it was good practice to see what I could and couldn't do. You're welcome and I'd be happy to do it anytime... 👍
