my understanding is they could have done better if the W had allowed either of the two higher offers to be accepted. am i wrong that there was both a Hartford and a Boston offer for $325 mil, both of which the league blocked? remembering that extra money would have gone to tribal welfare

sports teams are just 'portfolios' to ownership groups like FSG, i'm glad that more people are starting to recognize this. Arsenal had to deal with this for so long under Kroenke (owns the Rams and several Colorado teams) -- never buying stars, selling homegrown for 'value', always finish 4th, etc
