Things I learned in my 30s

-I’m still young. Not THAT young
-Life is loss and rebirth
-Everything said about you doesn’t deserve an answer
-Heal your inner child or it will burn your world down
-Parents are people. You are capable of everything you still resent about them
-All decisions matter

Today is my last day in my 30s. In this decade I:

-Became a successful full-time entrepreneur
-Became a father
-Successfully relocated
-Survived COVID 1.0
-Got engaged (then un-engaged)
-Lost my father
-Invested in therapy
-Served as college instructor
- Finally took vacations

I put on real clothes tonight!

Wheels up. Road To 40 hits the air.

It’s been 13 years since I started @hbcugameday.bsky.social. That’s 1/3 of my life. This year I have been working on building my brand as an individual. It’s challenging but ultimately will be worthwhile.

My great-uncle went to pick up his SSI check on Thursday and they told him he showed up as deceased. He got it cleared up the next day but I HATE America signed up for this shit show.

Picked my daughter up from daycare the last two days and she smiled at me like I had $1 million in my pocket. Then she preceded to run me ragged for four hours each day. Now she’s sleeping like an angel 🤣❤️

Gotta trust that anything God doesn’t give you peace about either wasn’t for you or you weren’t ready for at the time.
