Would recommend this game if you want a single-player MMO with an expansive world. You can spend hundreds of hours playing without touching the campaign.
However, if you want a game with a good story, with loveable characters you care about and feel for, you’ll probably not like it.

Boss Design: D
The bosses are either boring as hell or genuinely frustratingly unfair. Only plus is you can usually out-heal a fight. Stupid boss halfway through the main story took me days due to the undodgeable moves it does.
Story: C
Generic fantasy story, main character is meh. Like playing as the companions more.
Controls: C-
There’s a lot of creative ways to move around, but at times it’s so clunky I wanted to throw my controller. Doing the step puzzle (you know which one) was a nightmare bc he doesn’t turn well
Ok my final review of Crimson Desert:
World: A
One of the most detailed, expansive, beautiful open worlds I’ve been in. Only downside is many systems are locked behind the campaign.
Combat: B+
Can get repetitive but once you unlock more skills the creativity really shows. Grappling is awesome!
Continuing our playthrough in Stellar Blade. Devs definitely horny when making this one.

I think tomorrow will be my last Crimson Desert stream. Starting to really enjoy the game, but it feels like a single player MMO where I can just chill and explore. Would rather just enjoy it in my off-time or else I’ll be streaming it for 6 months
Continuing through Crimson Desert. On chapter 4 now!

My job getting busy is a blessing and a curse.
Blessing b/c I feel like I'm actually mattering at work.
Curse b/c all my favorite streamers stream during work hours and I can no longer watch them to pass the time.
After playing a good amount of Crimson Desert, it feels like RDR2 with a worse story and more things to do outside of the story.
I’m enjoying it so far, but yeah if you’re not into sandbox mechanics/exploration and want a RPG this may not be for you.
Trying out Crimson Desert! Come hang out

Zenon is my new favorite character in Code Vein 2! That intro came out of nowhere and I loved every second of it!

Crimson Desert was not meant for my version of chaos. I got arrested in the first 30 minutes of playing. I may be the first person to do that.
Started playing Crimson Desert off-stream. Only played for a few hours so it hasn’t sucked me in yet, but feel like the hate is overblown.
Dieting sucks ass. I hate being reminded on a daily basis that the food I love is high in calories.
Today I learned: When HR announces that someone ‘has decided to pursue other opportunities’ or ‘leave the company,’ the ‘decision’ was almost certainly not theirs.
Crimson Desert discourse on social media is wild.
You say the game is not for you, then 20 people will attack you in the comments for not being a “real gamer”
You say you are really enjoying the game, then 20 people feel the need to comment on how shit the game is.

After reading a ton of discourse and watching reviewers I trust, I don’t think Crimson Desert is for me.
Maybe once it goes on sale in a year I’ll try it, but I get bored with sandbox games and don’t want to pay $70 for something I risk quitting after a few hours.
I’ve gotten to the point in streaming where I finally have a few regulars hanging out.
I don’t think they realize how happy this makes me and how fulfilling it feels to be able to play games and chat with them.
I will say that all of my favorite reviewers seem to love Crimson Desert, so that’s a good sign.
Crimson Desert releases today.
Seeing a lot of conflicting opinions on the game.
Will finish Code Vein 2 first, and if the hype is still there, will stream Crimson Desert next.
Started Code Vein 2 yesterday. Ran pretty smooth so guessing the patches have fixed most of those bugs.
Two minor complaints:
1. It’s not very clear on where to go next, and the map is not great at showing which path to take. You get lost easily.
2. Driving the motorcycle is a pain in the ass.
Starting my first run of Code Vein 2! Can't wait to enjoy anime souls!
