Found out today from my homegirl in Iran that she lives in the cheapest place to buy gas in the entire world. Filling up her tank today cost $0.50 cents, and you don't even have to pump the gas yourself. All the gas is subsidized by the government.

That section of the China Creek hillside... the volenteers and Rebecca and I worked so hard for months to rid it of the evasive reed canary grass. If u leave any part of the root, a new plant grows from it, so taking it out can make many more. Compared to how it looked before, this is so satisfying.

I learned today that Miss Piggy's creation was inspired by this woman, who was so *not* happy to be the inspiration for the character, that she sued. She went after Jim Henson's company and they changed the character's name to "Miss Piggy" in order to avoid that lawsuit. Can you guess who it is?
