You need to know what might be coming.
Trump could have brought the nation together to confront political violence after the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Instead he appears to be preparing to use the shooting as a pretext to destroy his political opposition and consolidate power.

You have three days, starting today, to leave a public comment with the FDA about, say, why COVID-19 boosters should remain available to everyone and also free. "Individual consumer" is the category you most likely want (unless you are one of the other categories; if so, choose that).

It’s sad to feel shocked when the Supreme Court does the right thing:
Supreme Court says Trump administration must facilitate return of deported Maryland man
Up next, validating that 2+2=4
In a way the tone is almost as frightening as the substance. The dissent writes like it understands the stakes, and what kind of regime we're on the precipice of becoming. The majority writes like it's hearing a case about whether rollerblades can be taxed as vehicles.
The millionaire cabinet loser says “let them eat cake”
Translation: “Small businesses can’t enrich me personally so I don’t care what happens to them”
Says it all, really
What the hell?

That you are even making this a question is ridiculous. He cannot per the constitution. Period.
No, not Democrats being “bused in”—just regular Nebraskans waking up to the fact that their Social Security is on the chopping block to fund tax cuts for billionaires.
Great piece by PBS.
“Deportation flights landed after judge said planes should turn around
Flight records reviewed by The Washington Post show that three flights bound for El Salvador arrived after a judge barred deportations under the Alien Enemies Act.”

Hi!!
Because he did not consider those who were less fortunate than himself. Voting only for your own self interests is never the way to vote.
One thing Democratic senators have decided to vote for is a Republican plan to sabotage Washington, D.C. Not the synecdoche. The actual city of 700,000 people.

"They'll never cut Social Security" is the new "they'll never overturn Roe v Wade."
Dear @housedemocrats.bsky.social good trouble is what is required in this moment! Not decorum, get loud!! Disrupt!! And yes, get thrown out. Make John Lewis cheer!
If you worked for 18F and got fired, Group together to start a consulting company.
It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.
They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.
I’m happy to invest and/or help
Trump's appalling treatment of Zelensky, as well as his ongoing attempt at implementing Project 2025's Nazification of America has unleashed a Pandora's Box of hell against Trump, Elon Musk and the neo-fascist regime — not only in the U.S., but across the democratized free world.

One thing I am most certain of today is that I stand with President Zelenskyy #SlavaUkraini
If the Dems are capable of opposition a LARGE national ad buy about Republicans stripping Medicaid expansion from the working class would be a good start.

We should all email Trump asking him to do the same…
It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.
Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.
Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

I've read most of the analyses of the DOGE 2025 "receipts" site. This, from NPR, is the best I've read so far. Some of what they claim to have cut haven't been cut, other "cuts" will incur costs down the road.
NPR says DOGE has made $2B of cuts, not $55B.

The interim US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, a FedSoc member and former Scalia clerk, has done more to publicly expose the corruption of the Trump administration this week at greater personal cost than any elected official I can think of.
What could go wrong? www.npr.org/2025/02/13/n...
