If I pick up a card game and see that it immediately feels like a different take on MTG and not its own thing I just immediately lose interest. I would feel the same way about any games based on YGO or Pokemon but they don’t exist

I think my biggest problem with going back to older Pokemon games (gen 4 and back) is that while their maps, routing, dungeons are more complex, the regions don’t feel as flavorful as anything after it

Got a spicer one, the animated movies are written like actual Resident Evil games and they genuinely suck ass. Stuff like the villain dialogue before the last boss at the end of 9 happens all the time in those and people hate it.
