1.5 million Americans didn’t lose their health care because they were “cheating.”
Trump and RFK Jr. took it away from them to cut taxes for billionaires. Now, people are dying.

The US Secretary of the Navy, John Phelan, a businessman and art collector who has never served in the military, flew at least twice on Epstein's plane with Jean-Luc Brunel, and got his job by donating millions to Trump's campaign is apparently stepping down. No word on why yet.
There's a better way to power the world.
Nobody ever fought a war over solar panels and wind turbines...
Retired CIA analyst Larry Johnson has revealed that Donald Trump wanted to use nuclear codes during a White House meeting on Saturday night. General Dan Cain, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stood up and said NO
This is the level of instability in the White House.
Allegedly tRump tried to grab the nuclear codes in a White House meltdown—only for the Joint Chiefs chairman to stand up and say “No.” Apparently, even the military knows this unhinged man is too dangerous for the football. How much longer can America risk it?

5/ Hard to figure how there’s jurisdiction in the Southern District of Florida for supposed crimes allegedly committed in DC during the 2016 election, but at least Judge Aileen Cannon, is there. Brennan is just Trump‘s latest target for revenge; an esteemed public servant, now being targeted.
From @andrewrsorkin.bsky.social’s DealBook newsletter today (Thursday, April 9th):
"It's going to take months if not years for the US and global economy to recover from Donald Trump's war of choice."
Trump *hates* drinking, which is why some people were surprised he nominated Hegseth to begin with.
He was pissed at Patel for drinking on camera, so this might very well be the last straw.
Taiwan.
China is trying to convince the administration that Taiwan is a rogue breakaway state that needs to be brought back under China’s control.
And they’re using “help” with Iran to try to soften them up.
The GOP could stop this tomorrow if they wanted to.
Instead they’ll keep fiddling while Rome burns.
How did Joe Rogan end up in the Oval office with all that he has recently said about the health of the guy that works there?
“They’ll never close the Strait again” lasted a solid 10 hours.
Masterful negotiation (read: market manipulation) from Trump
Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) avoided an arrest for an alleged assault after one of President Donald Trump's staunch allies in the Department of Justice intervened, according to a new report.
This evening I saw an ad for the Save Act on NBC. CBS aired the same ad last week they want people to call their Senators to vote for it. The ad is full of lies which means the Republican Party is behind the ad. Ok Democrat Party where is your counter ad for Senators to Vote NO on the Save Act??
Sean Hannity, the Fred Flintstone of shameless propaganda, has declared he will no longer be a Catholic because he worships Donald Trump—and the money it brings in—more.
Sean had to declare publicly that he will no longer be following his faith—because how else would anyone be able to tell?
Lutnick: "The worst thing is the sucking sound of how many people try to suck off of the US government."
(Is he serious with this? He's projecting, right?! Who actually IS doing the sucking...? 🙄)
It's so funny to me that Trump pushed the GOP to extend FISA after bitching for years that it was used to "spy" on his campaign. Surveillance on thee but not on me! www.nytimes.com/2026/04/17/u...
Barely more than a decade ago, Florida proudly and with a bipartisan vote passed in-state tuition for undocumented immigrants who had been brought here as children and grew up in Florida. DeSantis’ Lieutenant Governor was actually a champion of the bill.
Things changed fast.
He’s lost his damn mind.
Also, if he thinks Iran will “never close the Strait again” he’s delusional.
He’s acting like the war is over because it’s back to status quo…ish.
Still haven’t solved uranium or missiles. All we’ve done is get the Strait re-opened.
This is what Hegseth doesn’t want the media to cover.
Both docs should be declassified to the extent possible. We are not doing this whole “secret exceptions to the 4th amendment” crap again or we are going to face a problem of another Snowden-like figure running off with tons of classified docs.
NEW: We obtained the government’s settlement agreement with Michael Flynn.
As previously reported, DOJ agreed to pay $1.25 million to settle Flynn’s claims that he was wrongfully prosecuted.
But docs suggest a separate settlement could be in the works: www.lawfaremedia.org/article/u.s....
The Trump threat: Indict my political critics or I'll fire you.
It is the full corruption of the Justice Department and Republican members of Congress are complicit.

the United States’ duty to safeguard tax return information under 26 U.S.C. § 6103 and the Privacy Act. The case remains in its early stages. Good cause exists to grant an extension in this matter while the Parties engage in discussions designed to resolve this matter and to avoid protracted litigation. This limited pause will neither prejudice the Parties nor delay ultimate resolution. Rather, the extension will promote judicial economy and allow the Parties to explore avenues that could narrow or resolve the issues efficiently. II. Argument A. Good Cause Supports a 90-day Extension. Courts routinely grant extensions motions where, as here, an extension serves the interests of justice and efficiency without harming any party. The Parties are engaging in discussions and need time to work through how to ensure those discussions can take place productively to avoid protracted litigation. This brief period will allow the Parties to initiate and structure those discussions in a manner that best serves the interests of all Parties and the Court
BREAKING: IRS confirms it's negotiating with Trump family to pay a "settlement" in the wildly defective lawsuit over the leak of his tax returns.

Kash Patel advisor Erica Knight says a “lawsuit is being filed” over The Atlantic’s article alleging that the FBI director’s drinking has been “a recurring source of concern across the government.”
Patel retweeted the post.
my unpopular opinion is that we're better off with Kash running the FBI and we should hope he keeps his job as long as Trump does
FRONTLINE and ProPublica investigate the violence, protests, and arrests stemming from the federal immigration sweeps across the country. "Caught in the Crackdown" is now streaming on PBS and online.
"They are quality human beings ... there was no reason that was provided to us as to why they were removed" -- military officials acknowledge they have no idea why some of their colleagues were purged by the Trump administration
Why should these women testify to Congress under oath, to be bullied & harassed by GOP plants
They gave sworn statements to the FBI, some of them did that several times. That’s enough…
Why doesn’t he & his wife testify to Congress under oath?
Or his AG, who was supposed to but refused to turn up!
