University of Minnesota Police Department uses LRAD riot control weapon on students to forcibly deny protest and dissent.

They should not even own this. It can cause nausea, migraines, and rupture ear drums.

Alumni, parents, and Minnesota write your letters!

Amerikanarar strikkar norske motstandsnisseluer mot ICE Den raude nisselua var eit symbol på motstandskampen under andre verdskrig i Noreg. No dukkar den opp i Minnesota som protest mot ICE.

Yesterday I was contacted by Norwegian journalist Amund Rotbakken Gundersen for permission to use this photo from last Friday.I am wearing culturally significant pointy red hat “Melt the Ice” pattern from Needle and Skein. He also asked a few questions.

Exclusive: ‘Pink coat lady’ who recorded fatal encounter between federal officers and Alex Pretti speaks to Anderson Cooper | CNN Anderson speaks with Stella Carlson, the witness who captured crucial video showing exactly what happened when Alex Pretti was shot and killed by DHS officers.

I closed my eyes during some parts but listened to every word. Her interview by Anderson Cooper was so emotional yet articulate. And she has been working tirelessly for her community.

Stella Carlson, the witness to Alex Pretti’s execution.

Minnesota STOP ICE NOW

Fort Snelling is the site of the Whipple Building where ICE takes abductees. On Monday 1/26, Pete Hegseth approved military troop movements to support US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the decommissioned military base.

From Nov 1862 - May 1863, Fort Snelling served as an internment camp for 1700 Native Americans, mostly women and children. They were abused, starved, and separated from 300 men who were imprisoned in Mankato. 100s of women and children died of exposure. 38 Dakota men died in Mankato on December 26, 1862 during the largest mass execution in US history.

Remembering our difficult past is important. Understand how history is repeating itself.

Greg Bovino was reassigned. But he is still free to torture more POCs and immigrants.

I will not celebrate until he returns to Minnesota for his trial.

Send ICE and CBP home. Release the detainees back to their families and offer a pathway to citizenship.

Charge the agents who not only murdered Renee Good and Alex Pretti, but demand justice for all people who had their civil rights violated. That list will be long. Reparations to those who were harmed.

The Commons was empty this morning but Minnesotans aren’t afraid to fill this park up again and make “Good Trouble”

The Whittier neighborhood has always been one of my favorite neighborhoods. It truly is the heart of Minneapolis.

Whittier was named for John Greenleaf Whittier who was a quaker, ardent abolitionist and a poet.

We stand with you and we grieve with you.

I think there is a generational divide beteeen people who consume podcasts primarily through audio and folks who consume podcasts via video.

I do not want to watch my favorite podcasters unless it's a live show irl.

I consume audiobooks in my free time :) and don’t listen to podcasts because I can’t listen to them while I work and most of the time when someone sends me video content I don’t watch it :)

I think these were part of the original vision of coffman union and didn’t get implemented until they tore out a terrible parking garage that was behind coffman!

I like that they truly join the campus with the river!
