Hey guys, I'm currently having an emergency regarding money and potential housing and really need help!
Please read below for more information.
A reference sheet depicting a long humanoid creature. They have anthropomorphic legs with hooved feet. long "winghand" arms, and an abnormally long neck leading up to its head, which has a heart shaped mask also resembling a owls face as well as deer-like antlers. Lastly, they sport a sweepy chinchilla-like tail. They are brown with a tan undercoat and tan tips about their body with subtle tree bark-like markings on their plumage. They have both a clothed and clothesless version of the character. The clothed version helps show off a leaf-like hooded shawl on the character, birch patterned arm warmers, and a leaf patterned utility pack on their waist. They also have a leaf-patterned satchel on their side. This character is named Obscura with the alternate name Maple and seems to be inspired by monsters in general, owls, and deer.
The second picture is an alternate coloring of the first reference piece, whereas in this picture, the background and lighting is dark as a whole to show off the character's white glowing eyes. Their tree bark-like markings now look more like red glowing eyes in this piece, giving off a more threatening vibe to the character. Both pictures have multiple callouts to show other parts of the character, here are some more details: There is also a turn-around piece of obscura to show how the shawls hood looks from the back and also demonstrates that they can swivel their head backwards such as an owl would. There is a profile view of the head to show the general flat-faced shape and the protruding antlers of obscura and how the heart-shaped mask-like face can lift up to reveal a huge mouth behind it with matching gleaming eyes beneath it in the void of the mouth. Lastly, there is a reference to show how obscura can transform its winghands into full huge wings for flight, then of which its hooved feel will turn into owl-like talon feet to use for utility purpose during flight.
A cautious friend of Yarrow. They have a knack for the dark and collecting little things they find around the forest floor. Keep your fingers away from their mask!
