The first monster card: Asteria of the White Forest.

Another way to make sure she's going up your hand is notably via Piri Reis Map, although with a hefty cost of half your LP.
And somehow we found some kind of reliable SS method for turn 1 by using Ancient Fairy Dragon's effect (yeah, a lot of people forgot it had such effect www).

While back then you can just make something like Beatrice and dump her or use Foolish Burial, it is scientifically proven that thanks to her being a level 2, dumping her via Spright Sprind is proven extremely reliable.

Coincidentally, this all can be achieved via Fiendsmith combo.

Now the 2nd effect.
As you might aware, having a resource that is accessible in the GY is a huge advantage in any card game. The fact that you can kinda cheat Asteria's summon by dumping her to the GY, pretend to forget, and suddenly summons her back is an INSANE upside.

These effects is amazing during White Forest's early days. 1st effect is not a summon trigger, so you can put her, pretend to forget, and came back to her anytime during your turn. Though of course the downside is that it's kinda slow and won't do much during your opp's turn.

First up, Asteria (or Astellar for you TCG fellows).
Formerly the best starter in the deck, Asteria has two effects:
1. (Ignition) send 1 Spell/Trap (S/T) from hand/field to the GY; Special Summon 1 Light Spellcaster Tuner from deck.
2. If an S/T is sent from hand/field to GY as cost, you can SS her

White Forest, as per this thread's writing, has five main deck monster cards, five spell cards, and one trap card. Aside from those, there's also an additional honorary monster card and trap card, as well as four synchro monsters for the extra deck.

Lore-wise, White Forest serves as a part and the prologue to the Diabellstar Saga. The cards and the gameplay itself revolves around the story of four orphans took under the wings of a witch in a titular White Forest and the tragedy that befell them.

By the end of this thread, hopefully, it gives you an insight on not only the deck itself, but also on how to improve yourself as a duelist.
