Everytime I hear “Physically Based Rendering” it sounds like a mistranslation to me
shouldn’t it be “Physics-based rendering”?

Isn’t calling it “claude-code” trademark infringement?
@t6e.dev huge thanks for working on the Steingass sqlite database
Indo-Persian† was the lingua franca of India for centuries. Reconstructing its phonetics is nearly impossible because the Abjad is unforgiving with vowels.
This romanized dataset is literally the Rosetta Stone of Indo-Persian.
Are you claiming this isn't AI? If you head over to the tiktok profile in the watermark, it's filled with this slop
My favourite song atm
BUT the piano solo feels so wrong.. like it should be EXACTLY 4 bars longer. Maybe my ears are too accustomed to hearing 8-bar long solos / middle 8s?

I grew up learning that the lion lives in a (majestic) den
But in national geographic I’ve only ever seen the broke ass lion sleep under a paltry tree that barely has 4 leaves.
The PR team is working overtime.
It looks like CNN has started broadcasting in anamorphic widescreen as of today
The hegemony of big 4:3 is finally over

the wikipedia logo with the omega circled in green
Is it just me or does the omega in the Wikipedia logo look like it's not curved along the curvature of the globe unlike the other letters?

They ought to be updating it once a week at this point
It's funny this keeps hitting #1 on Christmas. Isn't the song about how much she does NOT care for Christmas and all its pageantry?
By that logic, it’s a waste to own any material goods as they’ll all “end up in landfills”

It's been like a decade since I've played a Bethesda game. I'm glad to hear this has not changed at all lol.
Fun fact: there are more natural numbers than there are atoms in the universe
Linux is a community-driven project dedicated to protecting user freedom and privacy. Vague criticisms like this without articulating pain points are really shortsighted and unfair.

Why would I use anything other than Hannah Montana Linux?
It’s not about singular or plural, it’s about countable and uncountable nouns.
“Data” is an uncountable noun in English and therefore you should use “has” with it.
And just having a singular form “datum”, doesn’t suddenly make it countable.

Amazing work as always!
If you have Full Disk Encryption, I really don’t see the issue with using Biometrics for logging in.
If you don’t encrypt your disk, anyone can simply remove your hard drive and access all your files anyway, whether or not you use a password

There’s a huge epidemic of doctors refusing to diagnose cases of long COVID and disbelieving patients. It’s incredibly hard to get diagnosed with it let alone get treatment for it.
It’s sad that even in 2025 there’s very little awareness in the medical community about this.
CNN intl SDTV broadcast with stretched image and black bars
BBC News SDTV broadcast correctly displaying 16:9 video using anamorphic widescreen
It bothers me when channels that natively record in 16:9, letterbox their video into a 4:3 frame for their SDTV broadcast.
This is inevitably stretched again by EVERY modern TV resulting in a stretched image with black bars on top of it.
BBC gets it right by using anamorphic widescreen instead.
These are ambiguous and need to be translated into the standard form to disambiguate

For example:
"Everyone in the room is not wearing a hat" could be used informally to indicate either (1) "At least some do not have hats" or (2) "No one has hats".
Ok you gotta admit “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone“ sounds way cooler than the original name
“Sorcerer’s Stone” evokes a picture of a mysterious wizard with an enchanted gemstone
“Philosopher’s Stone” on the other hand makes you think of Socrates trying to pass a kidney stone
