Exactly. Anyone expecting me to stay on there JUST to speak to them overestimates their importance to me. I have been QUITE vocal about my list of reasons why I left (and those reasons date back to WELL before the election).

If a person can't respect that, then they don't respect me.

A country should NEVER be "run like a business".

Businesses are managed to cut expenses and have an excess left over, called "profit".

Governments exist SOLELY to care for the people.

Having a "profit" is just money that COULD/SHOULD have been spent on actually helping the people.

About two hours ago I uninstalled Facebook, Threads, and Insta and it is suddenly VERY obvious just how *addicted* I am to those apps!

I keep finding myself habitually and absent-mindedly tapping where the icons were.

Once my wife's birthday stuff (set up in FB Events) is over, I can deactivate!

I used leftover Thanksgiving turkey to make a gumbo.

Decided that instead of relearning French (a language I'd mastered but was a bit rusty on), I would use Duolingo to learn Gaelic (Scottish).
