to your response* -excuse me.

At the end of the day, feelings are not facts and evidence matters.

Now, that response was to a completely different poster from the one above, who made a false equivalence using a video. I responded your response to the later. I'm not the one moving goal posts.

The post I responded to did not bring staging into the equation. I addressed the point the poster above tried to make. Then, you inserted yourself, made a claim, and I asked you to define the terms.

Plastic Surgeon Walks Us Through Trump's Ear Injury One Year After Assassination Attempt Plastic surgeon Dr. Frederick Weniger assesses former President Donald Trump’s ear one year after the Butler, PA shooting—confirming it healed well without surgery.

It was televised live, there were witnesses, and a man died. A lot of things happen against the odds- and surgeons can see a difference in his ear. I think once Trump knew he was ok, he did what he did to excite his base. He was facing jail and understands optics.

Thanks. I had to try because facts matter. I don't like Trump, but I despise him for the many horrible things he's actually done.

None? Provide the definition for each.

Now, all I'm saying is that the event happened. It was filmed live by multiple networks, different people, and a man was killed. Superficial wounds happen, ears bleed. Facts matter. You can think whatever you want about me. I don't expect you to do research.

A bite isn't a bullet, either. The point is that the bullet very likely grazed him. People get grazed- bullets don't always penetrate. It isn't "divine" it's just placement.

Trying to present two very different situations as being somehow equal to imply that a person's bravey in one situation is fake because they were cowardly in the other could be argued as both a false equivalence and a false analogy.

Yeah, conservatives absolutely capitalized on the unfortunate event. They used the situation to energize his base and that made them all get out and vote- when a large number of democrats and/or left leaning independents stayed home. Hopefully, next time everyone who can will vote.

Buying into unverified internet conspiracies because they validate one's feelings is apparently common on both sides of the political spectrum. 🙄

FACT FOCUS: A look at false claims around the assassination attempt on former President Trump A range of false claims and conspiracy theories have surfaced since Saturday's assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

The event was filmed live and there were multiple witnesses and videos from the crowd from various angles. Something happened to Trump's ear and a man was tragically killed. That's what I know- that is what has been verified. All ear wounds are different, they often tend to bleed.

Or he was very superficially grazed. I caught my ear with a razor once and it bled like the dickens. After it healed, it was difficult to find the scar.

Ears have many small blood vessels close to the skin.

President Trump’s approval ratings | CNN Politics President Donald Trump’s latest approval ratings.

CNN's last poll (March 2026) was 35% approval. If you see 100%, you're very likely an old, delusional, narcissist.

Jenner doesn't blame Trump, "still loves him," too. Of course, because Jenner is hoping, like the rest of Trump's "friends," that he will make an exception.

Why are we setting age limits for Coachella, anyway? It's interesting that those who advocate for personal freedoms, to live and love who you want, are sometimes the same ones creating weird social controls/constraints.

Because once you've been born, it's on you to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps," which conservatives believe means you have to "put in the work" and/or have "grit."

Of course, the phrase itself was actually an old 19th century metaphor for a "fool's errand," since it can't be done.

Good. Eastman joins Rudy Giuliani and Kenneth Chesebro. Sadly, Sidney Powell has only endured "disciplinary complaints," and Lin Wood surrendered his license before facing any judgment.

Yeah, that sounds like a Republican plan.

Under former Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, the state leased land to Fondomonte Arizona, a subsidiary of a Saudi Arabian dairy company, to grow water-intensive alfalfa in the desert for export. They used our precious water to grow their thirsty crop.

Live Nation files an appeal.

Live Nation is very likely going to appeal, which will drag everything out for years. Bad entities, like Live Nation and Trump, know how to manipulate the judicial system.

In 2024, Trump staged a rally with fake auto worker union members. He was exposed by local reporters, who spoke to the attendees at the non-union facility. They found out that the people present weren't union members or even auto workers! 🙄

Such a phony man.

Yes! Most of them make their money by paying their workers less than they're worth. Then, they lobby to cut taxes and social safety nets that their workers need to survive! They owe us!

Thank you. I'm sorry for yours as well. I've like the name Shadow, ever since I saw the move Homeward Bound. Tonka is a cute name, too. It means "great" or "big" in Dakota Sioux. ❤ I hope they are all together, enjoying themselves also.

My dogs are my children, and I've lost two, Lucian (15) and Jax (18). Their absence breaks me down completely sometimes. June 15th will be one year since Jax crossed the bridge. 😪 I'd like to think they're still here. ❤

You absolutely should use your vote any chance you get! 😀

I know Warner Bros. Discovery has set a "special meeting" for their shareholders to vote on the merger on April 23, 2026. I didn't think Paramount shareholders could vote against the merger?
Thought you guys could only vote on the acquisition mechanisms, how it will be purchased?

Jim Jordan, Kevin McCarthy, and Andy Biggs ignored theirs also.

It is nice that people are trying to stop the merger by any means they think may work. Outrage can create pressure.

That said, lawyers believe the merger goes against Section 7 of the Clayton Act, which essentially forbids acquisitions that may significantly reduce competition. There's legal hope.

They were participating in an open-air class when they were gassed. The school(s) in the West Bank were closed because of the U.S.-Iran-Israel War.

Absolutely awful.
