My master set of Tomokazu Komiya Pokemon cards is now finished aaaaaAAAAA
Super excited its finally done
Loving how detailed the Magnemite is, just for the Magneton to simplify everything
This is where non-english or japanese cards had unique variations. Lechonk w/ a Chinese promo, Cosmos Rowlet, fullart Karrablast, a Jumbo Pikachu by multiple artists, and the Gengar line... with Pokeball, Master Ball, reverse, and cosmos variations like crazy. And thats all my Komiya Pokemon cards!
Pokemon! Snorlax & Eevee GX was the first full-textured card drawn by Tomokazu Komiya (that I know of). Bunnelby had 2 league promos, 1 of which says Thank You! on the art, Bidoof was really a peelable ditto, Drampa had a JP & a McDs promo, and Drowzee, G Slowking, & the Baxcalibur fam had fullarts.
I don't have the Pokekyun Psyduck promo, and that joe is expensiiiive
Getting close to the end!
Some cards had McDonalds holo variants like Scraggy, Staryu, and Slowpoke, Cyndaquil has a Japanese-only reverse variant with stars in the holo, Snubull has a Build-a-Bear crossover prom, and Psyduck has 2 japanese-only promos: Pokekyun hearts, and Munch's Scream.

More #pokemontcg with art by Tomokazu Komiya. The Phanpy was from the POP Series packs, distributed during Pokemon Organized Play programs. They came in 2-card booster packs. Magcargo had a non-holo variant only available from a preconstructed deck. The rest were available from packs.

More pages from my heavy daggone Pokemon binder. Included are some from starter decks with special stamps like the Magnemite, reverse foils with changing patterns based on the set (patterns outside the art box or set names being displayed), and another Japanese-only promo
Missing reverse Primeape from Aquapolis and reverse Diglett from Skyridge ;-;
Komiya cards from early generations, including japanese-only promos and a sleeve designed by Komiya. Missing a card, reverse holo primeape.
Continuation of early gen cards. Non-reverse variants have an e-reader code on the left and bottom edges. Championship decks were released at this time, showing silver-edged variants with the player's signature.
Pokemon cards from Komiya pt3
E-reader functionality was introduced around this time, giving in-game content when scanned. Touch-Generation Change promos were released, showcasing the change in the back art of Japanese cards.
World championship decks were also released with players' signatures.
Try getting this one when you can, i think it has the most character to it
Reorganized binder. Komiya cards pt3, Neo cards including 1st edition and unlimited variants.
Komiya pt4, including the last Neo cards, the japanese-only VS set, and Expedition cards. This shows the introduction of reverse holos and removal of 1st ed in english.
First page shows duplicates from previous, reorganized the binder.
The Neo sets were printed by Wizards of the Coast, where multiple card variants were made: 1st edition, unlimited, holo rares, and non-holo rares. VS was Japanese-only, and Expedition dropped 1st Edition cards for reverse holos.
Tomokazu Komiya Pokemon cards pt 1, vending series.
Komiya cards pt2, web series and regular promos, Neo sets, and alternate art cards
Gonna start going through my collection of Tomokazu Komiya Pokemin cards and sharing tidbits that may or may not be fun.
Starting with the Vending sets, Komiya's been creating art for these cards since at least 1998. Some gained multiple variations like Machamp's web series or Moo-Moo Milk alt art.
I haven't seen those old DBZ cards since I was a kid, when they had the promos at Burger King with the stiff toys. That's cool as hell
That joltik is super fun, goober just popped out a plug and is about to start drinking electricity from an outlet like a gatorade
Keep those sealed, absolutely
Very fun cards that people have started noticing more recently, values have started going up
I like the ponyta because of the artist, glad I got mine when it was cheap
That potato looks identical to my corndog
