Spent the weekend in focus groups across south Wales from Cardiff to Merthyr, to Port Talbot & Pembroke Dock, above all else we heard deep pessimism about the state of Wales, the UK & the wider world

Loved this, esp remarkable to have the chance to see many versions of same subject, proper chance to immerse yourself in her artistic process

Really want to go again to see if my responses change

Another Reform candidate for the Senedd has stepped down.

The 3rd in a week since the lists were announced.

Candidate Owain Clatworthy said:

"As a Christian, my faith guides my principles: honesty, accountability... I cannot continue to support a party that has moved away from those standards."

I lead on tobacco and vapes, my problem is managing expectations - no, ma, I can't sort out the guy who was vaping in your bus stop; yes, your suggestion might 'make some of them think twice', but sadly it is not consistent with evidence on prevention, my scope of practice, or the rule of law

Had solar installed last year

Solar Together scheme, no subsidies but council manages auction, so trustable supplier + price

45 min site visit + 8 hour install. Electricity off for 20 mins. No maintenance. Lots of pretty data dashboards.

Also now treated as expert in mid east geopolitics

Big social housing blocks by Barry Docks station, est 100+ panels installed in last fortnight, same for remaining space

2 mins up the line, plot of c12 newbuilds, roofs seem designed to max panels being installed

25 min journey to Cardiff, new scaffolding ev week in past year

Feels like lift-off

Talking to my mother in Northern Ireland last night, all family outside Belfast have oil heated homes, double digit % rises since war started.

Spring now, but devastating if this lasts, 2/3 of homes in NI oil heated

Some debate on other threads reposting this questioning authenticity - overlapping categories, colouring wales and scotland as data 'unavailable', when it is - not the kind of issues associated with @houseofcommons.parliament.uk library. Could we get a link?

COVER - National childhood immunisation uptake data

I'm sure you are aware, but for followers who are not, data are available for Wales and Scotland, they just haven't been included on this map, so the legend isn't accurate

Yes, given how far down the list of issues the smoking ban appears, it does seem more like a nail in the plaque on the front of a coffin that was already fully constructed and functional

"it [the smoking ban] was the nail in the coffin of a situation we were failing to make work anyway," Chainey said.

I went to a karaoke bar with some coworkers from a Beijing office where I worked for a bit in 2008, and I still get a song we sang going round my head, no idea what the words mean, whether the song was a classic or a one-hit wonder, not helping here I realise, not at all

My parents told me that when they moved into the house i grew up in in 1976, a big selling point was that it had belonged to a GP and so had a phone line. The waiting list was years!

Not sure if this is still true, but the NHS was often cited as the largest customer for fax machines and consumables in the world. Lots of critical systems built around the fax when it was exciting new technology!
