It’s within reason that Trump won’t go the full four years for any number of reasons. It will be a step up. Vance isn’t insane, he’s a rank opportunist. He knows Trumpism won’t last once Trump is gone. He’ll want to be the guy known for restoring calm. Remember, he hated Trump before he loved him.
