QET Labs contingent for the EntangleCam exhibit at The Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition! Come see us over the weekend in London and hear about quantum tech for healthcare and sensing! @qetlabs.bsky.social @imperialcollegeldn.bsky.social @uofglasgow.bsky.social
Another excellent result posted to the arXiv today! We replace the mirror in our methane sensing nonlinear interferometer with paper, and it can still sense the background methane in the room and is more robust to misalignment! arxiv.org/abs/2506.17107 @qetlabs.bsky.social @qusit.bsky.social
The arXiv papers keep coming! This time an amazing demonstration of entanglement-inspired rangefinding between different buildings across Bristol! We use low light levels and single photon detection, but operate in daylight! arxiv.org/pdf/2506.11980 @qepnthub.bsky.social @qetlabs.bsky.social
New arXiv paper! We use a plasmonic metasurface to demonstrate pulsed nonlinear interference via double-pass stimulated four-wave mixing! See here: arxiv.org/abs/2506.01175. Collaboration between ICL, QET Labs, and NTU. @qetlabs.bsky.social @imperialcollegeldn.bsky.social @qusit.bsky.social
Gave talks today at Stanford and Berkeley! Great questions, amazing campuses, and some fun lab visits too! @stanfordpress.bsky.social @ucberkeleyofficial.bsky.social @qetlabs.bsky.social @qusit.bsky.social @qepnthub.bsky.social
Postdoc Job Alert! Come and work in my group at the cutting edge of interfacing atomic #quantum memories with single #photon emitters! Closing date: 17th June. See here: www.bristol.ac.uk/jobs/find/de... @qetlabs.bsky.social @qusit.bsky.social @qepnthub.bsky.social @qqq-iop.bsky.social
AI image of Bristol Suspension Bridge with a laser network in the sky!
Huge opportunity to come here not only for a permanent academic role, but also to be Director of the QIST CDT! Bristol is an incredible city to live in, and the quantum ecosystem here is amazing. Get your applications in by 18th May! bristol.ac.uk/jobs/find/de... @qetlabs.bsky.social
