Welcome to Gator Commitment Day at the University of Houston-Downtown . The turnout from incoming trasfer and freshmen was incredible. The Enrollment Management team made today's event gator-rific.

There were some outstanding chili ... the teams had a lot of fun and so did us judges. A great University tradition.
The Division of Enrollment Management hosted the Grad Fair for all University of Houston-Downtown students graduating on 5/8. Our Gators were able to pick up their regalia, announcement cards, graduation stoles and cords, decorate their motorboard, & take a picture in their regalia.
Congratulations to UHD Center for Career and Professional Development in Student Success and Student Life on their successful Etiquette Luncheon sponsored by Amica, Enbridge, and the Gator Resource Center. This is a wonderful learning experience for our Gators.

I enjoyed the College of Public Serviceβs Social Work Person of the Year program. This year, a student committee coordinated the program and the selection of the recipients. The recipients were outstanding and the students' testimonials were perfection and heartwarming.
The UM School of Education & Human Development is one class act. This beautiful book arrived today and showcases each of the Centennial Medal recipients from this past University of Miami 100th Anniversary Homecoming. I am humbled and honored to be one of the recipients. #GoCanes π§‘π
Today, we welcomed over 400 inquiring students and family members to the University of Houston-Downtown for our Spring Open House. Our faculty, staff, and students came out and showcased all that is great in our Gator Community. #GoGators
Bayou Bash 2026 was a great success tonight. Big thanks to the UHD Student Leadership & Involvement team and the Council of Organizations. The crawfish was great, the music was fun, and the atmosphere was gator-rific.
