Just watched around 10 mins of the BBC coverage of the US bombing Iran and tell me why I'm not surprised that they had an American reporter on saying republicans and some democrats will support this action and that congress may speak against it but to no effect/consequences.
The American people do not want to begin a war with Iran, and Trump does not have the unilateral authority to start one.
I'll keep speaking up on behalf of my constituents, the overwhelming majority of whom don't want to be dragged into another forever war.
Also knowing that our UK government, especially conservative and reform, have been supporting Isra*l for over a year now and usually backs the USA is really scary.
Protests are in the streets regularly for freeing pala*tne, in the USA no kings and no ice.
I'm trying to stay focused and not spiral..
Scrolling through tiktok and seeing the news, from multiple sources, that the USA (Trump) has bombed Iran in 3 locations is horrifying. Knowing this is a catalyst for more destruction, tension and unrest.
How does the world not panic right now?

Oh so a good mix! I currently have a stack of TBR in my bedroom, then 5 TBR downloaded onto my Kobo Libra colour.
I tend to bring my e-reader with me in the car for long journeys and when I'm planning to go somewhere to eat like a pub.
Then I try to read my physical books at home
I didn't realise you get paid for the request, that's so cool. I asked for 4 books to be on hold today (as one of my holds were released today for me to read) and I think one was an indie author 🥰
Wow! 😮 How do you read more than one book at a time? The most I've had is 2 books on the go at the same time but I often get the stories and characters then muddled up 🤣😓
Today after waiting over 9+months I saw a neurologist and finally got some answers for my daily headaches I have been battling with for 13 years!
This resulted in me getting 6 nerve injections down the side of my neck which were and are unpleasant. Fingers crossed it will give me some relief! 🙏
