It's hard to believe that all of the ugliness in the world exists when it naturally looks like this. Thats why I need to be outside... as often as possible. And in the moments I'm not there, I am thinking about it.
Yesterday I was working in my studio when I glanced up and noticed the sky starting to light up pink. I threw on my winter coat and flew, and I mean FLEW outside, jumped in my frozen truck, drove with the windows down (because frost) to this spot that, fortunately, is very close to home now.

Thank you! It's been really fun finding things that glow in the forest. The light I use is a 395 nm flashlight (found on Amazon) and there is no filter on my camera, just macro lens 😊 My photography buddy, that I hike and shoot with, has a 365 nm light. It's less purple than mine is but it's bright
