I've been a big PTA fan, but his last two films just haven't worked for me........there's a fetishization in terms of ick relationships in Licorice Pizza and OBAA that really bothers me how little either films actually says about how wrong those relationships are.

I really don't like "Sinners" not getting Best Picture or Director.....but PTA not winning for "There Will Be Blood" feels like a "Seriously wtf" sort of moment; but I digress.
