Damn days like today I wish I had a heart

On a personal note, both of my beloved cats are part of my family today because of the actions of an Alexandria Animal Control Officer. In two separate situations, an officer responded quickly and handled each case with professionalism and compassion, ensuring the animal received care and safety rather than being overlooked. Those experiences underscore how Animal Control Officers quietly but profoundly impact residents’ lives, protecting animals, supporting families, and strengthening trust in City services.

Long live the legacy of Ken aka officer meows.
