In 2021, after the birth of my daughter, my wife had a stroke. We moved out of Paris to help her recover. Bored af with my job as a journalist and needing a change, I started doing content for FaB with 2 people I'd just met.
5 years later I'm managing the European region for the game.

Today, BH Paris in Team Trio is my first time playing a competitive FaB event.
There were no BHs in France when I started playing, then I started casting, then working for LSS, so I just never had the chance.
I won't lie : I'm terrified.

... and it feels like a strong foundation to tell other good stories in the DC Universe (I'm sure Supergirl will be great, for example).
It's not my favorite Superman movie, but it's my son's favorite, by far. And just for that, I loved it.
... and it tends to defuse every emotional moment by making a joke in the middle of it, but it is, in a way, a Superman movie of its time.
Not exactly the Superman I'd want, but probably the Superman I need.
It's fun, goofy, effusive, fast, it has a lot of heart...
It is a good movie. Not only because right-wing commentators are at it calling it "Woke" (it is only woke if you think being a "good person" is the same as being woke, btw...).
It goes all over the place and doesn't have a lot of room to tell every story it wants to tell, the writing is uneven...

I'm happy I'll get to share it with my son regardless of what the movie's about.
Worst case, it'll be another fast and fun action movie, I know Gunn is good at that.
And it'll give me another opportunity to dive into my comics collection to show him all the good Superman stories he should read!
... I'm hopeful James Gunn took the opportunity to tell a story that's needed in 2025.
As the USA (and most of the world, my country included) descends into fascism, I just want to see a blockbuster story about hope, justice, love, and how we should all strive to make the world a better place.

Tonight, for the very first time in my life, I'm going to see a Superman movie in a theater with my son.
Superman has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, he was my favourite superhero when I was a kid and even as I grew older (until now...), I kept being drawn to his stories.
