We're delighted to introduce Maria Corredor (Cornell University), who is exploring how maps shaped Spain's geographical conception of the Pacific Americas.

The second keynote of #SLAS2026 is in honour of Cara Levey, whose work has inspired the conference’s theme. Her friend and colleague at the University College Cork, Professor Nuala Finnegan, shares a lecture on the impact of Cara’s in our field.
